YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT

As a young man, Good Health was something I always took for granted. Oh the wonderful years of being youthful. I was tough and invincible and never looked towards the future. Then behold, one day I awoke and found myself older, very over weight and in very bad health. Does this sound familiar?

As we look at the increasing and overwhelming number of sickness and disease in the world today, maybe it’s time we take another look at how we live our lives and examine the food we partake in. There has been an old saying that many of us have heard all of our lives, and that is, “YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT”. Did you know this holds true to both our spiritual life and our physical life. You wouldn’t expect to go out clubbing and carousing every Friday and Saturday night, drinking, doing drugs and having sexual relation with many partners and expect to be a fired up, hell wrenching Christian. WOULD YOU? Did you know that we shouldn’t expect to live Healthy when we fill our cabinets and refrigerators with Ding Dongs, Potato Chips, Pizza and Pop just to name a few.

If we look around, we see the overwhelming increase of many major problems that are plaguing our society such as obesity, heart disease, cancer, and the list goes on and on
Did you know that according to the Studies of the New England Medical Journal, proper nutrition is one of the top priorities to maintain a healthy life style. Isn’t that what we all desire? In the weeks to come, I hope to bring you some important information on how we can benefit by gaining knowledge and understanding to a healthier way of life. We owe it to ourselves, our children and family members. Did you know, in the book of 3 John verse 2, that the Lord desires us all to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers. Wow, prosperity and good health. That should be the American Dream. May GOD Richly Bless You.
